Note to Invited Participants and Speakers:

Arrival October 25 and 26

For those who have already emailed their flight details, The Centre for International Law (CentreLaw) has arranged for pick up for the participants and speakers arriving.  The driver of the vehicle will meet you at the arrival gate with your name on a sign. Participants will be taken to the Crown Regency in Fuento Osmena Cebu (Club Ultima). You may check in at the front desk of the hotel, which will have a list of all the guests.

If for any reason you cannot find the car waiting for you or if you were not able to send in your travel details, airport taxis are readily available. The fare should be PhP 350.

Welcome Dinner and Breakfast

The only activity scheduled for October 26 is the welcome dinner at 6 pm, at the hotel (Wang Shan Lo Chinese Cuisine) on the 20th floor, Tower 2, Club Ultima.

The conference begins on October 27. Breakfast will be served 6:30-8:30 am at the Ruby and Topaz function rooms on the 3d floor.

Conference Venues

The venue for most of the sessions will be at the Royal Hall on the 5th floor.

On October 29, the venue will be Plantation Bay Resort, Mactan, Cebu. Assemble in the hotel lobby at 8:15 am for transportation to Plantation Bay Resort. Those with flights on this date should check out of the hotel and bring their things as the airport is in the same island as the resort.

Money Matters

Money exchange will be available at the airport upon arrival. As an alternative, automated teller machines that accept Cirrus, Mastercard and Visa are readily available throughout the city.

Reimbursements will be made in cash in US Dollars. Please bring copies (preferably originals) of all travel/travel tax/ and transfer receipts.

Registration

The registration for the Conference will be at the hotel at  8:30 am Tuesday, 27 October 2009, at Royal Hall, 5th floor, Tower 1, and during the conference. See conference staff for details.

Laptops and Wi-fi

Please feel free to bring your laptops to the Conference as there is WI-FI internet access at the hotel.
